Gingham, oh gingham.

Seriously, I should consider re-naming this blog. I used to be called Dotti for years just because of my spleen on polka dots. Meanwhile I have the slight impression things might have changed a little – or what do you see in those pictures underneath?


The sun gets nasty from time to time.


My lovely Monday morning: sun, coffee, a lace babydoll and later on the little gingham beauty.

I'm a backstabber. Tse tse tse.

Again gingham. But it had to be. And guess how everything developed this morning. I ate blueberry muesli with strawberries and when I noticed the nice colour combination – bright red, pale purple and white – I just made a quick jump towards my closet and pulled out this cutee. Is it my fault that it's made of a gingham cloth? I'm so sorry, my dear polka dots.

I spent my lunch break on my favourite farmer's market – Isemarkt. With some of my nice girl colleagues. We bought flowers.


Did you notice the matching ear clips already? Purple.

Roses, cherries, gingham and a green salad.

Everything out there is in full blossom. This morning I wanted that for myself, too. Thanks to my huge wardrobe it's not been a problem. It felt like picking flowers when I chose one piece of clothe after the other. First the long cherry gingham skirt, then my rosy blouse and at last my pink rose slippers. All items I left out in the cold for years. I'm happy that all three of them forgave me that little fauxpas and made my day comfy.

Ich habe rot-weiß karierte Tischdecken. Rot-weiß karierte Gardinen. Rot-weiß karierte Geschirrtücher. Und rot-weiß karierte Servietten. Selbstverständlich fehlt kein rot-weiß kariertes Kleid (neben Blusen, Jacken, Röcken und Hosen).

I own curtains, tablecoths, napkins and dishtowels featuring white and red gingham. Of course a ginghm dress belongs to my collection aswell (besides shirts, skirts, jackets and blouses).

Und weil ich es nicht über's selbige bringe und zugegebenermaßen auch, weil es nicht so gedacht war, behalte ich nur ein paar der Sachen und gebe den Rest an euch weiter! Und zwar in Form dreier Motto-Pakete: einmal Kleider, einmal Blusen, einmal Punkte.
